Arrancó la fecha nueve del Torneo Clausura con la victoria de Riestra como local por 1-0 ante Gimnasia La Plata en la Zona B este viernes, un triunfo que dejó al Malevo como líder en soledad de ese grupo, quitándole el primer puesto a River. Luego, Racing venció por 2-0 a Huracán en el Ducó por la Zona A y sumó su segundo triunfo al hilo en el certamen, luego de un flojo arranque. Después, Vélez, rival de la Academia en la Libertadores, le ganó por 2-1 a San Martín en San Juan y escaló al tercer lugar de la B. Y Lanús venció por 2-1 a Platense, también por la Zona B.
